Wonderful! Perfect! Cozy and incredible food, lovely and.. did I say perfect yet? This place and Daniel are my two favorite restaurants in the city so far. While Daniel is more romantic and date-like.. Bouley is somehow more comfy, and the kind of place you can meet your bf/gf's parents at for the first time (wink!), without feeling overly constrained. Everything I had here was delicious, and because it was my bf's birthday, they brought out an entire table's full of cake and random goodies at the end. Very expensive, but also wonderful! (Random: There are free apples in the lobby for you to take at the end.. I guess if you pick enough of them you can sell them and try to make back some of the money you spent at dinner!).

Good atmosphere, impeccable service, high prices, comfortable dining, and great food. this downtown restaurant looks like a farm house (more elaborate and decorated) that makes you feel at home. i went for lunch because they have a prix-fixe lunch menu but it is still on the expensive side (not the usual $20 for 3 courses). one very nice thing is that when you leave, they send you home with dessert on the house!

The food, the service, the atmosphere: everything about this place was chosen and perfected divinely. The staff was extra attentive and we were no less than overwhelmed with all of the courses that were brought to our table over the course of the meal (including a variety of sorbet between every single course). Splurge because it's worth it - one of the best meals you will have anywhere. Period.
