I was visiting my buddies and he said that we had to try this place out, he said he loved it and ordered from there all the time. I was starving so I was down to try it, and the delivery was literally 15 minutes, I've never seen that before. The food was fresh and delicious!

Wild Ginger is surprisingly good both in terms of food and atmosphere for the price. There's rarely a wait for a table, but they're always busy. Best dishes include the Po Pia appetizer and the Ginger Chicken entrée. The menu always amuses me just a little as the chicken dishes are listed as "from the sky", which really is not how I think of chickens, but points for creativity I suppose. They have a decent selection of beers (skip their wines) and no particular dessert that merits attention. finally, I know many people who live int eh neighborhood who are huge fans of their takeout.

I've never actually eaten in the restaurant but I have gotten takeout tons of times. It is great for takeout, always comes super super fast and they save all your info, so you don't have to go over it every time. The food is always really fresh and not too salty or greasy at all. I highly recommend the fried tofu (and I'm not even a vegetarian) Also, the best wonton soup I've ever had.

We first discovered Wild Ginger as a takeout menu shoved under the door sometime in early 2002. Our long time fave downtown takeout thai place had become unanswered phone after the events of the previous September so it seemed like time to try another. Excellent plan. The food is subtly spiced with just the right amount of heat for heat lovers. The portions are large and the ingredients are fresh. And delivery is usually in less than 10 minutes.
