Rosa Mexicano offers excellent food in a stylish, sophisticated setting and it's the perfect location if you're attending the Opera, the Film Festival, the theater or any other Lincoln Center offering. The service can be slow so tell them you have a curtain if you do, otherwise enjoy the leisurely pace of the meal while you admire the two story waterfall.

Great guacamole! Rosa Mexicana produces hand made guacamole right at your table. Although it’s a bit bland, the freshness really makes up for it. I would recommend this to anyone who is really into fusion Mexican cuisine. While it is pricey, the appetizer can suffice for a meal…watch out though, I hear some of the entrees are not worth the price.

I had high expectations for Rosa having heard great things about it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the lackluster food and the over the top prices.
The restaurant itself is pretty with a lovely tiled wall near the bar downstairs but a kind of stiff and blah-looking dining room upstairs.
The only highlight of my dinner was the homemade guacamole which is made tableside. It was fresh and seasoned well. My only complaint? It was too small a portion for the price.
The other offerings on the menu were also overpriced and not that good. I don't understand why everyone is raving about this place.
Yes, the proximity to Lincoln Center is ideal and there is a lack of good restaurants in this 'hood but Rosa sadly is not one of them.
The margaritas are good (especially the pomegranite one) but you guessed it, expensive.
Don't waste your money here and go elsewhere.
