Decent chinese food with an American flair. The decor is tacky with fluorescent lights everywhere, but the service is fine & the portions generous. The bamboo logs are very tasty & I highly recommend the salt & pepper squid. The soups taste like home cooking. You won't need reservations, but there may be a short wait on weekends.

Funky Broome has a terrific atmosphere with its funky style and unique pieces of decorative items. Their food is absolutely delicious and at an affordable price. They also have a live fish, crab and shrimp tank as well. Their menu is composed of asian cusine with a hint of american style to it. The dishes are large so you get what you paid for. Its location is great as well, just a block away from the busy marketplace of Chinatown and one two blocks in the other direction is Soho! Great location to eat if you're visiting both places.

Funky Broome is an eclectic place. It is hard to quantify and qualify. Which is something new and surprising for the rum dum chinese food that we have all come to know and love. The food boast of an impressive number of platters and designs, such as the interesting mini wok which are highly recommended. Like most chinese places, it offers an impressive selection of meat, vegetarian, and seafood dishes.
