Yuka has been around for years and they've offered the greatest special that I think is around in the city. All you can eat sushi for $18 (plus tax and tip). It's a great deal and...

Best Deal on the Upper East Side 5/20/2006

Every time I go to Yuka, and, being that it's around the corner from my apartment, I go a lot, I have had a FANTASTIC meal. My husband and I are always shocked when we order soup, salad, drinks, no less than 5 rolls, and 6 pieces of sushi, and the check is under $40! You can't beat the warm greeting by the sushi chefs as you enter and leave. Only complaints are it's always crowded (good for them!) and very noisy inside. Other than that, a great place to eat well whether or not you're on a budget. more

Very good neighborhood place 5/20/2006

For a random neighborhood sushi joint, Yuka is surprisingly good, and pleasant. I find both their vegetarian sushi and their fish to be of high, consistent, if not spectacular, quality. Certainly, if it were in my neighborhood (rather it's near one of my jobs) they would be my default delivery joint. more

Hot sushi! 3/16/2006

I am just kidding. I have a love/hate relationship with the fact that I can get all this sushi for $18. It encourages me to eat entirely too much. However, it IS very good, well-done sushi, so I don't really mind. I just keep my limit down to once a week. Don't always just go for the all you can eat, though. Ordering off the menu has it's advantages...and tastes good, too. more

Definitely the greatest AYCE around! 9/20/2005

Yuka has been around for years and they've offered the greatest special that I think is around in the city. All you can eat sushi for $18 (plus tax and tip). It's a great deal and the sushi is usually very good. The sushi is even better if you order from the regular menu and the pirces are very low compared to neighborhood prices. I love the spicy tuna and the tuna tataki! more

Best all you can eat in Manhattan 9/12/2005

I've been to a lot of all you can eat sushi restaurants. Yuka is simply the best. Others put on about a pound of rice, forcing you to eat it. If you don't the charge you extra. Yuka puts on a moderate amount of rice. Try their Tataki also. It's part of the AYCE menu. Wonderful rare cooked tuna and salmon sushi. Yummy. The sushi is always fresh. For $18.00, this is an incredible deal. I've eaten at Blue Ribbon Sushi, and Yuka is about the same quality...at a fraction of the cost. Yes, the wait can be long, but I 've never waited more than half and hour for a table. The sushi chefs are really fun but the service can be really lacking at times - the tea is excellent as well more

Great sushi at a cheap price 8/15/2005

This is a great sushi restaurant, I've been going here for years, all you can eat in 2 hour for $18. how can you beat a deal like that in manhattan, the rest of the food is good. it is a little nosey on occasion. but on the whole its a great time, and perfect for somebody that loves sushi and can eat tons of it. more

All you can east Sushi for $18 per person. 8/13/2005

I love Yuka! They have great Japanese food, but most of all I go there for their All-You-Can-Eat Sushi. For 18 bucks I get to eat until my belly can't take it anymore. This isn' t a buffet style restaurant. Ordering is through a note that's on the table. Just make sure you don't order too much because you'll have to pay for what you leave on your plate. I recommednd their beef steak for people who don't like sushi. It is one of the best I've ever had. TOther than the food, the place is very nice too. Feels like you're actually in Japan for just one hour... more
