When you are in Chinatown at 2am and you are hungry, Yummy Noodle is the prime candidate for some Chinese food. This place is famous for their bo jai faan (rice casserole bowls), which come with many possible toppings: eel, chinese sausage, preserved duck, chicken, mushrooms, and even frog (ew). The rice is slow-cooked in a bowl and then you just pour soy sauce on it and eat it all up. I wouldn't recommend their Singapore mai fun though because the last time I had it there, it was really salty. Other than that though, their food is great!

this place sells more than noodles. their noodles are really good and cheap. but they also sell rice cooked in clay pots, which are also really cheap and good. they have different kinds of this rice which are also good such as rice with spare ribs, chicken and chinese mushrooms. and they also have other rice dishes. the place is pretty nice. however, sometimes they can be kind off understaffed. after all it is hard for one person to try to take care of the whole store.

This place is famous for it's Chinese Rice Casserole. It's basically rice in an clay pot, and cooked over direct heat with various toppings such as Preserved Meat (Chinese Sausage, Chinese Bacon), Chicken and Mushrooms, Mushroom, Eel, Beef Pattie. They're all very Chinese styled but very basic. Perfect on a cold night. Entrees and Rice dishes are so-so but their noodles and bbq items are not bad.

As it’s like its name implies, the noodles here are yummy. They offer a wide variety of traditional noodle soups but that’s not what the usual diner orders. Unlike their name, they specialize in a rice dish cooked in a ceramic pot. I’m not sure of the name in English but it might be called a casserole. It consists of white rice with a meat topping cooked over a high flame. This dish usually takes about 25 minutes to cook, so make sure to time your appetite appropriately. The place is small and it can get crowded at times. The seating and tables are very uncomfortable so try to eat quickly. Try to avoid the bathrooms as its not cleaned regularly. Personally for noodle soups I prefer Sweet N tart, however theirs is no slouch.

Although the restaurant name says Yummy Noodles, most customers come into the restaurant for their yummy pot rice aka casseroles. I usually order the chicken and mushroom rice casserole. The only downside is that it takes about 20-30 min to make the casserole especially if you order the rice casseroles because it takes time to cook the rice and such. I would suggest ordering an appetizer or something small while you wait for your food. For those who are daring and like to eat frogs this place has it as well. Service is minimal and it may be hard to flag someone down since it can get really busy especially during lunch and dinner times. The good side is that you can call and order take out and you can even keep the pot that comes with the casserole!!
