Candle cafe is one of the best vegetarian cuisine through out new york city. The chef prepare the food with precise care and the flavor is outstanding. They serve organic food and varies depending the season. They also have different specials for each seasons. It has a friendly atmosphere and the people are nice. Excellent customer service. The price of the food is decent, not expensive like other places that sells vegetarian cuisine.

Have you been a very bad girl (boy) lately? Staying out late? Drinking too many margaritas and gnawing on too much red meat? Give your liver and colon a little holiday at Candle Cafe. You can't order anything here that will harm you. Well, ok you could binge on organic wine but you'd be the first. The meals are surprisingly filling. Each dish is packed with fresh spices and herbs to bring out the best in the vegetables and grains. The starter dips are worth a try. The dining area is rather generic so take out is always a good idea.

It's very busy here, and I guess its full of vegans and vegetarians (it's a mostly vegetarian, not vegan menu, there is a difference). However, I am a full-blooded carnivore and I enjoyed eating here. The portions are slightly small, but that leaves room for their delicious chocolate mousse pie (with chocolate cookie crust), which is absolutely mouthwatering.
