Vegetarian Dim Sum House is good, but there is better vegetarian dim sum, just around the corner. Buddha Bodai is better, fresher and more authentic. however, Buddha Bodai stops serving dim sum at 3pm, but Vegetarian Dim Sum keeps serving it up all evening. So if you need Dim Sum later in the day, then this is the place to go.

The last time I went to Vegetarian Dim Sum House, there were eight of us for a birthday dinner - the entire meal cost us $32 ... located on the dog leg side of Pell Street in Chinatown, VDSH offers up plates of someof the best dim sum I have ever had. unpresupposing, the restaurant is a baby blue hue with large dark wood tables. the menus are brought to you and you make your choices including mock meat so real , you think it IS meat. prices range from $2.00 for dumplings on up to $16 for "meat"
Dining is unhurried and relaxing. service is good, and the food wonderful.
Try it. you'll agree.
