This place has a wonderful menu and wonderful prices. Think $8 for penne with vodka sauce. My husband and I come here every few weeks and always enjoy ourselves. It's an adorable little place with cozy seating. The waitstaff is very friendly. There's also a nice back patio which could be used for parties or quiet dining.

Small quiet local Italian restaurant on Upper East Side. Very reasonably priced pastas and Italian dishes that won't overtax your budget. Nice presentation and attentive friendly service. During the week, Prix fixe lunch specials available for under $10 including appetizer or salad and entree. Excellent gnocci and eggplant parmigiana is also delicious.

Seriously folks, where else in New York can you get an entree for less than five dollars? This place is very inexpensive and their food is very good. Their specials are also good! The menu includes entree that can be under five dollars, but the pasta dishes can range from seven to ten dollars which is not a lot compared to the neighborhood competition. I'd go there again and again!
