Tiny, tiny restaurant that makes delicious lassis (namesake). Mango is particularly delicious but also rosewater is worth trying. Good sandwiches too.

We order from Lassi all the time---pretty much since it opened and
have had nothing but great food and service. We are Indian and it is the closest thing
to home cooking out there. If you want Indian restaurant food, it's not the place for you.
The food is clean and delicious--just like home. Delivery is timely considering what one
has to go through for good delivery. We had one very late delivery and the next time we ordered, the owner
had remembered and sent us a dessert on the house!
I wouldn't let one bad day take you away from Lassi.
Pros: great food, great service
Cons: very small, no bar

We went to Lassi on a rainy day, so we were able to sit down, etc. But frankly, I've had better Indian food- better parathas in general. My husband and me also tried the mango and the cardamom lassi- again- I've had much better lassi. On the whole, we were excited before we came to eat there, and left a bit dissapointed.

after calling for a delivery we were told it wouldn't be long. After we made 3 phone calls and 2 hours later our food turned up cold. Every time we called to follow up on the order we were told it was on it's way. Not once did they bother to call and advise us it was running late, eventually telling us it was out the door but it it didn't arrive until 30 minutes later...but we only live 4 blocks away! We could have picked it up from them, if only they had told us what was really going on.

I love this place. The food is really delicious and not your typical greasy indian. All the dishes seem to be made w/ care. And the people are incredibly friendly.
Pros: friendly and yummy

Don't even think of eating in unless you fancy having yuppies wack you in the back with their handbags as they swish in. Food... nothing to write home about. The lassi's however are outstanding. Initially I was deeply dissapointed with the serving size (about the size of a small bodga coffee) and the price (nearly $4) for the small lassi but found that it was so rich that even shared between two people it was almost too much. Worth it as an occasional treat.
Pros: excellent lassi
Cons: expensive as hell, stingy portions

First off, a lassi is lowfat yogurt with a some sugar and anything from coconut to cardamom mixed in. Do yourself a favor and order your food before you head over here so you don't have to wait. For one, it's really small and has no tables to eat at anyway. Secondly, those stools usually hold the bums of other people that called ahead and are waiting for their food, just like you.

can't eat there but they now deliver. The only negative would be a very limited menu selection, especially since the food is very good and you want to go more often.

A mango lassi. If you havent tried one, you certainly havent experienced life. This is a summertime 'must' in the Indian culture and now it has been brought to the village for your satisfaction. It cools, soothes, and awakens your senses in this cosy little restaurant known as lassi. Other dishes are daily specials which vary daily so you can surprise yourself, but the one stable factor is the mango lassi which is something everyone should try at least once.

This is a cheap and very good Indian place. I recommend you to ask for delivery or take out. The place is too small, but the food is good and cheap if you know what to order (go easy on the Lassis, they are $5 each).
