I love Slate. I use it as my venue for my birthday party with friends. People can play pool or ping pong, or sit back in the comfortable lounge areas and just eat and talk. It's also a good happy hour place with coworkers. The drinks are a little pricey, but I really like the ambiance and service. I didn't know about their weekday lunch specials! Great tip!

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Slate. However, when you order skip the desserts. The scenere is great the vibe and service is great. I also forget to mention- On sundays take your girlfriend or boyfriend to play pool you get an hour free with your brunch. During the weekdays, from 12-3 there is a lunch special for $7 AND you get free pool. Not bad considering its New york in the Chelsea area. So if you want excellent food rethink it..but if you want hooked up drinks, scenery some cool bar food then SLATE is it.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Slate. However, when you order skip the desserts. The scenere is great the vibe and service is great. I also forget to mention- On sundays take your girlfriend or boyfriend to play pool you get an hour free with your brunch.
