Our family discovered this delightful restaurant while staying at the Hotel Benjamin. We had the pre-theater menu, which was delicious and unbelievably reasonable for Manhattan. We've recommended it to many friends from Milwaukee. It will always be at the top of our list when we visit Manhattan.

I happened upon this place by accident and decided to try it out and was very pleasantly surprised.
There is a nice bar on the right side of the restaurant, and then the restaurant to the left of the entrance, and tables in the back. Definitely had a French feel, and my husband and I were given a table for 4 to fit our coats and bags, very accomodating.
The food was also surprisingly delicious - we tried the escargot (served out of the shell), onion soup, steak/frites, and coq au vin. Everything was excellent. The wait-staff was very friendly and great pacing. THe place filled up quickly, seems like a neighborhood fave, and I'd definitely recommend it!
Prices are average for dinner, don't come here if you're looking for an inexpensive bargain, though.
