I've been to red lobster plenty of times in the past and always enjoy myself, because the staff is super friendly and efficient and the food is really good! Why not get great seafood for lower prices then going to an overpriced seafood restaurant that tastes just the same. I would recommend checking this place out, they also have pretty good drinks to check out! I would also have to agree to check out the biscuits!! they really are very good.

You may ask, "Why would a Manhattanite go into a massive chain restaurant like Red Lobster let alone one in Times Square?" The answer is simple, but comes in two parts: 1. the cheddar biscuits. I can't resist them. 2. I was a kid once and had a thing for Red Lobster. Every once in a blue moon I get a craving and just have to have some (and those biscuits...). I sit at the bar downstairs, order my seafood sampler, indulge, feel a bit too full afterward, pay my bill & leave. Sure, 99 times out of 100 I would rather eat at Manhattan Ocean Club, but that 1 time out of 100 the seafood lover in me wants Red Lobster and all of its chain-ness.

I've never understood why anyone would go to a place like Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or T.G.I. Fridays while in New York City; there are many other local places that serve much better Italian, seafood, and American. However, when I saw this Red Lobster, I really wanted to go. It looked absolutely beautiful on the inside, and it had a gigantic fish tank, and there was always such a long wait. Well I tried it, and it tastes like any other Red Lobster, despite its much prettier decor. Live and Learn.

I celebrated my birthday here with my college roommates two years ago. In mid-December, the place was incredibly crowded, but what else do you expect in Times Square around Christmas time? The food was delicious, and I had a good time. Red Lobster's seafood has always been a favorite of mine. My only complaint is the $100+ bill that I had to foot at the end of the night, having stupidly agreed to treat my three friends for the night. Watch the prices at this one.

The staff there is friendly and well-mannered. Their food is mediocre. I've had their shrimp, scallop, crab, pasta, and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake before. I think the drinks are pretty good, especially the Pina Colada and Strawberry Pina Colada.
