My husband took me there for a quick dinner and I simply loved it! The food was delicious and the service was great. They were very accomodating when my husband showed dislike for the chicken and wanted shredded beef instead. The owner himself changed it for him. Highly recommend.

I had dinner at this dive this past winter with a date and one of the waiters spilled a cocktail on my fir-trimmed coat. After politely notifying the watier (who was very polite) a manager came over and started implying that I was trying to get a free dry-cleaning comp out of the place. The mediocre meal that followed was topped off with dirty looks from the bar staff. The place was dirty and smelled strongly of booze. I would sooner take a date to taco bell.

Used to be a fave of ours on a post-work Friday night. The food's delicious, the service is always stellar and the scene is crowded and noisy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Don't get over there as often as we'd like nowadays, but when we do, it's always tons of fun.

This Benny's will always have a special place in my heart because of their utter graciousness during a recent blackout. As most restaurants in the area closed, they happily served a friend and I beer and gaucamole and chips as discount prices, and let us spend the afternoon at an outdoor table. It was an island of paradise in an annoying situation. In normal situations the food is decently healthy and the service good.

I liked that it wasn't crowded on a late Saturday afternoon around 4 PM. The margaritas came pretty quickly though the server did not take our order all that quickly. Guess he was giving us our space since it was pretty empty there. I was pleasantly surprised that there were soy substitutes for the cheese and topping for the vegetarian/vegan. Nice location and thought it was easy to get in and out. Not much a place to cruise the passerbys LOL.

The food has the magical property to induce a comfortable torpor which is most appreciated in the wintertime. It's a fun place. Go there with your friends. Don't take your date there, unless you're really really desperate.
