At least once a week I make it my business to stop by Fashion Soup for lunch. I try to go around a little after 1pm to avoid the lunch hour crowd. The store is very small and the lines are often very long. The soups are wonderful. I can't get enough of morrocan soup. I also like the staff since they are always so friendly and polite. The few times Fashion Soup is empty you can sit on the counter, read a few magazines and drink the ice cold water sitting in a pitcher nearby. I also enjoy the empanadas. The columbian is my favorite as well as the guacamole. The prices are good too.

Don't be fooled by the small size of fashion soup. Inside they have a great variety of soups and empanadas. They soups are delicious and they always offer you a sample of any soup you want. Personally I go for the empanadas. They have chicken parmigan, ham & cheese, pizza, regular meat and they even started doing breakfast so bacon & eggs empanadas. Delicious. Call ahead for the breakfast empanadas so they are ready when you arrive.

Smooshed in between a FedEx and a Italian restaurant is a tiny shop that serves only the most delicious soups and empanadas in the city. The soups come in many different flavors as does the empanadas. If you are not sure which soup you want you can taste a sample. After 3pm the prices are slased in half. Around lunch time there is often a line that goes out the door. They recently started making breakfast empanadas as well.
