Brother Jimmy's, simply put, rocks. This place feeds into my Peter Pan syndrome by throwing me back to my college days with their fishbowl cocktails, loud music, and decor. There is a recollection of one birthday where we ordered the Trash Can cocktail (minimum 8 people), but I was having too much fun to remember most of the details...
As for the food, this is in my personal opinion, some of the best ribs in the city. With the choices of three different kinds of rubs for the ribs, as well as po' boys, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, and many different kinds of sides and appetizers, you're spoiled for choice. The portions are filling, so on many occasions, especially for take out/delivery, we order an array of appetizers and graze off of that for our dinner. The Cajun Shrimp are phenomenal and the wings are spicy, flaming hot, just the way I like them. Overall, Brother Jimmy's is a definitely the place to go hog wild!

pulled pork. It's a crazy kind of mix here. It's like a barbecue, southern, soul and wing place. But the food is great, and I could eat their po'boys all day (if I wanted to weigh 500 pounds).... More
