Thalia is in the perfect location for pre-theatre dining and reservations can be made here. Right on 8th Avenue in the low 50s, you will easily be able to reach just about any Broadway theatre if you leave the restaurant between 7:35 & 7:45 with enough time to comfortably settle into your seats.
Great caesar salads and crabcakes to start. The pork chop is ENORMOUS and juicy, set on a bed of sweet potato puree. Ask for your steak on the rare side and order duck at chef's preference. The fries are surprisingly good (especially with the meat festival you will enjoy when ordering any of the previously mentioned entrees).
They are happy to get you out in time for your show!

This place is good for those looking to go out without reservations. . They have a great selection of seafood dishes. Take advantage of the oyster sampler, and make sure not to miss the mussels dish, both delish! Specialty drinks are good, though I would have liked a better selection of house wines, they only seemed to have fruity sweet whites.
They have a great lounge area with good discreet people watching since they are on the corner and have big windows. Outdoor seating is available as well.

The restaurant is conveniently located near the theatre district. The atmosphere is great particularly for after work drinks and a quick dinner. The burgers are always delicious and well seasoned.
