Planet sushi is not the first, second, or third place I would think about for eating sushi, but it is fine. I don't have particular complaints. It was reasonable, but didn't scream "this is amazing sushi." It was just ok. It's a large place, the prices are reasonable, and it's busy but not crowded...so that means it is a comfortable place to go, maybe with a group to enjoy some nice conversation - if sushi isn't the spotlight of the affair.

The food at Planet Sushi is quite straightforward. They have all of the usual sushi rolls, with a couple of unusual ones thrown in the mix. For the less-adventurous, tempura and teriyaki entrées are also on the menu. It’s a great place to take kids who are not ready to take on sushi, but want to try a vegetarian roll and some other Japanese dishes. Kids will also enjoy the décor, which sticks loosely to an outer space theme. There is an astronaut hanging from the ceiling.
