There is often a long line outside of Gennaro and it's because the food is reliably good. They have great specials, the pastas are always fantastic, and they have a nice wine selection too. I have been there a few times and it is always good. The service is good too. I highly recommend checking it out!

Gennaro has been a favorite of mine sore some time. The food is consistently good and it has a neighborhood feel to it. Also, it won't cost you an arm and a leg. The average pasta entre is about $11 and most of the other entres are under $20. The restaurant can get crowded and they don't take reservations so you may wait at peak hours. The only real negative is the menu hasn't really changed since it opened and the specials are rarely very daring, but if you want solid italian it is the place to go.
