HARMONY PALACE RESTAURANT is one of the fancy Chinese restaurants ever. When you walk in there is an escalator to take you to an enormous wide area of tables. The lighting is incredible. There is a huge stage for special occasions for weddings, birthdays and huge dance parties. They also have the famous karaoke machine for people to sing. Located in the heart of Chinatown, The Grand Harmony Place has been providing dimsum to the local chinese population for quite some time now. The food is cooked for a chinese culinary taste but westeners will be able to appreciate the flavor and the careful preparation of the food. The menu is in both english and chinese and while the staff's english may not always be great they are always happy to help someone out. This place is great for the family for Dim Sum, which is simply a morning of afternoon meal. It is a sampling meal, where there is no main course or dish. Instead, one is filled by sampling the many delicacies that are offered. It is definitely a place to bring kids. No one cares if anyone is making noise. People are in general expected to be loud and to make noise and to enjoy the food.
