I hired Charles Luk as my representative attorney for a co-op apartment sale in Queens. In the few months of working with Luk & Luk, I met Charles all of one time to go over estimated closing costs. Aside from that one meeting, he never returned my phone calls and responded to just one e-mail. His assistant, Sammie, is wonderful. She does most of the legwork for the entire office and is thus always busy. However, she is very friendly, helpful and mostly responsive considering how busy she is.

I used them for settling the apartment in brooklyn. They seemed to know a lot about the process and gave me step by step instructions on what to expect for the costs which was great. The only thing is that they or rather the whole process took so long to complete. I started to use them in November and I didn't get word that everything was done until May! I had to call them up every week for a status on my property and always had to make sure they had everything. Overall, everything fell into place, but the wait was unbearable! I'd definitely recommend them though. They speak both chinese and english.
