Upon entering the office, I was quite skeptical because of the small, basement-like feel of the place. I had found out about this place from craigslist and figured it was worth a shot. Luckily, the broker was very straight forward and sociable. He seemed to be a bit on the pushy side though when I told him I had to run it by my roommate. He kept saying how the apartment was such a good deal and this and that. Well, he showed me the apartment on the Upper East Side, a great area, and yes, a very reasonable price. The broker’s fee was also very reasonable, as compared to many other brokers’ fees I had inquired about. So, even though this broker seemed to be a bit pushy, he proved to be an honest guy with an honest business, and even let us move in before the lease start date.
