Moving from one home to another can indeed be stressful especially if you have heavy stuff such as a piano and large antique cabinets. Andy and his team showed utmost professionalism and care while handling these delicate furniture. It took quite a while to move all my things but overall, they did a fantastic job. I expected some things to be broken or scratched but nada! Nothing. Good job guys! Definitely recommended. 5 stars!

I used your guys to move from 757 West End to a place on Irving place today. Claudio, Victor and another gentleman were on the team. This crew has actually moved me before. They were professional and handled my stuff with care. Move was seamless. Just wanted to thank this company for once again providing me with a outstanding service. I will recommend this company to anyone I know that will be moving in the future.

As I was looking for a moving service on Google for a local movers in New York I learned about Official movers. Nice clean and polite movers, great support service and a price that worth the treat. Will be using them for sure in the future if I have to move. make sure to get in home estimate, it really made the deference for me

We were highly recommended Flatrate movers from our friends who have used them. They charge one rate and not by the hour, and pay for any parking tickets. Be sure you ask for Urbie - he is the greatest mover ever. He came in with his crew and took over our apartment. He is highly skilled, trained and extremely hard working. I trusted him so much with the move, that I even gave him my fragile items that I was originally going to move myself. He will also pack your kitchen for you for $150 which I think is totally worth it.

I used Manhattan Mini Storage this past summer when I moved from Brooklyn to the Upper West Side. There was a gap between when I had to vacate and when I could move into my new place so I stored my belongings at this place.
They have locations all around the city and are very professional. I would suggest checking out their website and not just showing up at one of the faciliities. For one, prices for the same size room vary by the location in the city. Therefore, if you don't care which of their facilities to use, you can save a lot of money.
I only stored for a month, but I was still able to get a truck to move everything. I got the truck for 4 hours for free. Definitely something to ask about.
Finally, the one area they do rip you off on is accessories. I would not buy boxes, packing tape, etc. there. Bring your own lock! (or you'll end up spending $14 for a $4 lock there).

Fair prices and enough strong careful movers for that heavy bulky item, the piano, whether it is an upright or a baby grand. When you call for an estimate, you need to know whether there are stairs and how many at each location. Also, on the day of the move, make sure you know where they put anything that is removed from the piano (especially the handles for the piano cover and remember to have them put them back on before they leave). Recommended!

My company used them to move all of the desks and chairs from downtown to our new uptown location. The guys came about 10 minutes late due to traffic but they cleared out everything in about 1 hour or so after wrapping up all of the chairs and desks in cloth. Very professional staff and very fast.

If you live on the east side, this is a convenient storage and moving company to know about - if you are moving a full apartment or only want to store some pieces for a short while. They offer a full range of services around moving, including packing, cleaning, storage and the like. They showed up as promised to provide an estimate, and their mover people seemed strong and capable. They also suggested I plan for the move by packing as much as I could myself, to save some time costs. They will also take on moves in the city, out to the suburbs, or even across the country
