Insulting anti American sentiment on the menu how spicy food can't be adjusted for American tastes as if every American can't handle spicy food. Our food was good, but not nearly as spicy as they made it seem. At the beginning things were going ok. Shared a meal and chit-chatted with an old friend. Throughout the time the bus boy refilled our water. The waitress came by once to ask if our food was ok. When the bill came we paid in cash and left a tip according to the service and what we could afford. The waitress comes back with the change/tip and asked if that was all we intended to leave. She asked if anything was wrong with the service. When we told her no, it was ok she began to insist that guests normally leave a 20% tip and ours was only around 10%. We explained that we left a tip according to the cash we had on hand and offered to put the bill on a credit card if she could return our cash so that we could leave a tip from that. Even with that offer she was not pleased and continued to rant and rave as to how we should’ve initially at least doubled the tax. I am not normally an argumentative person but I asked, "What’s wrong with us just leaving the tip we could give? What if we couldn't give more?" I continued, "The bill doesn't have a suggested tip printed on there and if you charge all guests a 20% tip it should be included on the bill!" She leaned in closer to us and said that it’s illegal for them to include the tip on a bill for parties less than 6 people. "Exactly!" I exclaimed, "That’s my point! You can't force us to give you more of a tip!" At this point she said she would go get our cash back so we could charge it and leave more of a tip as we'd suggested earlier. By that time it was too late. I told her that I was going to write a review about the service and the ridiculous situation. She told us to never come back again. Trust me, I never will. If this is not a sign of perfection I don't know what is. Plus of course, my pocket is definitely very happy after every visit. Need I say happy hour. Cheers and bon appetite! Not even any standard peanut taste, just a pile of mushy noodles. Maybe a bad night? Not so, same thing another night with another friend, bland noodles with gravy and wait staff was very unattentive, staying in the back area and avoiding customers for most of the night. The last straw? When my bf and I sat near the bar toward the end of the night. We were finishing up our food (with plenty of other tables still there), when the bartender starting washing glasses. SPLASHED ALL OVER ME AND MY JACKET with no apologies whatsoever. Never coming back ever. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Quality, Staff, Portion

I love this place, i've been there twice already and both times i had amazing service and food. When i returned there for a second time the line was pretty long, but me and my party were seated in less than 10 minutes. I recommend the Pad Thai and they have tofu for vegetarians, which taste pretty good. Overall anytime i come to NY i will be stopping by this place. Pros: Vegetarian options, amazing pad thai Cons: a little cramped

I have been coming here for several years now. I have dragged all my friends in here, and they have done the same for their friends and coworkers and families. the place is addictive. It leaves you craving for more. I LOVE it. I love everything from the service to the drinks and obviously the food. MMM. Especially love their tuna tartare and baby squid legs. Seriously perfect. No cons. Pros: really delicious thai food, great drinks, service, great value Cons: i have nothing to complain about
