Love this place!!! 4/9/2007

Love yakiniku- especially for the all you can eat bbq Mondays through Thursdays. The ladies who work here are so nice & helpful- especially with questions about portions. They always remember me and my hubbie as well. The food is fresh and delicious. Very addictive! Awesome neighborhood establishment- you have to check it out. If in doubt, make a reservation. more

my fav shabu shabu! 6/13/2006

Whenever I long for SHABU SHABU, I come to this place. The beautifully sliced marble rib eye and bunch of fresh vegetables, attentitive cute asian waitresses, a semi-private booth, I just feel comfortable and relaxed in this joint. The most of locals are BBQ followeres, but SHABU SHABU is my high recommendation. Pros: service, quality Cons: small more

how can you believe anything written here, if most of the reviews are written by the same iliterate liar, who is trying to pump up the restaurant? ""I and my friends, I and my girlfriend, I and my friends, I and my boyfriend, I and myself, I and etc..."" don't like the distortion of reviews wriitten favorably by one person.... who could it have been? Pros: avg food, can hide here, hhhmmmm Cons: tiny, cave-like, avg food more

FANTASTIC WAITSTAFF 6/22/2005

I had heard about the all you can eat bbq and decided to check it out. Myself and another patron ate 3 huge plates filled with meat and veggies. THe waitresses were so attentive and offered to bring out more food as soon as they saw that the plate was emptying. The food was fresh adn well flavored! more

Average 5/18/2005

I went last night with my boyfriend and had a good time. It was slightly too dark to see whether the meat was fully cooked or not but the service was attentive and friendly without being too much. The food itself was pretty good although it's not the best of meats but for 25 all you can eat it's a great deal. It's a pity they dont serve side dishes like traditional korean/japanese restaurants or that they give free vegetables to go with the meat. It was basically a lot of meat after meat with a bowl of rice. Pretty good place to go if you're really hungry! Pros: service, price Cons: small space, dark interior more

Don't miss this place! 4/28/2005

If you are a meat lover, you can't miss this Yakiniku (BBQ) joint. Not only they serve ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ, including Sirloin, Short Ribs, Lambs, Chickens and Porks with delicious dipping sauce, the Shabu Shabu is also very the best in town though it's a bit more pricey. I'm glad that I found this place. Pros: Value, meat, wait staff Cons: small more

I'm coming back! Ding Dong! 3/22/2005

I had a friend's birthday party here at Juju. We had a such a great time. We ate and ate AYCE BBQ untill we were about explode. The service was upbeat and fast, the waitress were so cute. They gave us a pretty birthday card at the end enclosed with a polaroid they took of us. It was very nice of them for caring us like that. Thank you. I'm definitely coming back again. Pros: value, service Cons: small more

the best shabu 11/25/2004

This place stands out by its far superior shabu shabu. The high quality of meats and fresh fresh vegetables, and I love the combination of sauces they offer is just right. Eventhough JuJu keeps a low key, it's packed everytime I go, mostly by neighbor followers. The dinning room is so small but cute and intimate. I go back more often for shabu shabu which keeps me warm in cold season. Pros: warm atmosphere, fresh food, value more

Glad We Went In 5/19/2004

My BF wanted to try Korean for his 28th bday, so we chose this based on Citysearch reviews. After seeing a dingy sign and two bums begging for change at their door, we had some trepidation, but went in anyway. Glad we did! Great deal for all you can eat BBQ. $23 a person, grill it right there. The meat keeps coming til you feel like you will explode. Short tables tho, my knees are sore. I always check out bathrooms too, and this one was clean and actually smelled nice. Might be fun with a group, altho there are only a few tables! Would go again! Pros: friendly service, good deals more

Best Bet for summer 5/5/2004

They bring the fresh fresh raw meats and vegetables right front of you. It was pretty busy cooking and eating at the same time, but I had a wonderful time here. The food and service was top notch, only the complain is that this place is so small that some seats are not made for a big guy. The place was packed on the night I was there (Thursday), but it's worth wait. Pros: short rib, fresh vegetables, music Cons: , stairs more

Best Bet for japanese yakiniku in NYC 7/7/2003

For $20 you cant go wrong. The food is fresh and delicious. The relaxing and lively atmosphere make it easy to just sink into your booth, and grill away at their melt in your mouth morsels of meat.. All you can eat special is only on weekdays Mon-Thursdays, wasn't very crowded on a Thursday night when I went, surprisingly. But can't hurt to make reservations if you know you want to go. This may become a weekly habit for me! Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious, Lively atmosphere Cons: a "walk" from subway, Special only Weekdays, closes too early more

BEST VALUE 4/30/2003

This place offers the incredible service and food. We enjoyed ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ very very much. The meats are so tasty!!! You won't find anywhereelse where offers this much volume for just $20. I'm very happy to find this place. Thank you John. Pros: service, price more

Yummy! 1/22/2003

Went to this place on a weekday and it wasn't packed at all, made reservations but it wasn't necessary on weekends it seems. My boyfriend and I went for the 20 bucks all you can eat and I must say the meat is very tasty, we kept eatting till our waists gained 2 extra inches! I would definatly go again.. the bill came out to $108.00 but thats only because we drank $60 bucks worth of saki! otherwise the price is very reasonable! I definatly plan to check this place out again! more

what a night! 10/1/2002

I and my friends had a party at Yakiniku Juju and Oh My God! What an experience we had that night. We tried All You Can Eat BBQ, and I can't believe that we ate so much meats, but the food was so tasty that we could not stop eating. The dipping sauce was really good, I kept dipping and dipping and.... We probably had 4 or 5 rounds, then a smaily pretty waitress told us ""Are you giving up?"" They beat us, men! They took and gave us a free photo, at end, a wonderful tasty refreshment tea and candy was another warming attitude this place has. You have to try this place. The service and food is one of the best! Pros: service, short rib and sirloin, smoking more

consistently good 8/26/2002

good food, good service, and a really weird interior motif, coupled with the occasional bon jovi in the background make for an interesting meal. some of the appetizers were so-so, and the seats definitely did a number on my knees (attempting to cross, smack...ouch), but still a good time. all i can say is ""all you can eat..."" woo. Pros: good value, interesting interiors, meat Cons: cramped more
