If you are in the mood for some delicious and creative rolls, Sushi Twist is the answer to your prayers. The Jazz Roll and Honey Roll were fresh and fanstastic. BUT the Yellowtail Ceviche almost stole the show. The restaurant also has a great sake list, as well as an impressive cocktail menu. We are definitely going back to try the hot entrees, and judging by what we experienced, we know we won't be disappointed.
Service and atmosphere were also excellent. But the food was the highlight of our night. GO THERE!

I went to Bao111 on a saturday night with 7 people. We had the prixe fixe menue of 6 appetizers, 4 entress, and 3 desserts - enough for the whole table to share. The cost was $45 per person. The food was excellent! They brought out the appetizers almost immediately, and there was plenty for the whole table. The food was delicious. The duck was incredible. I loved everything about this place, except for the fact that they only had one bathroom and on a Saturday night you can imagine how annoying that can be. I also think that because it was a Saturday night, the service with the drinks were a little slow.
Pros: the food!!!
Cons: only one bathroom

I usually go this restaurant. There are super cute staff and great food with reasonable price.
NOT ONLY Popular DOLSOT (or bulgoki, kalbi, pork).
My new favorite is spicy squid (sometimes seafood casserole) truly yummy.......Lunch special? that's almost free. (still can get small kimchi things) sooooo cheap.
Temple's staff always say "sure" i like that. actually im kind of demanding. I asked sidemenu threetimes but they still said "sure"(!!!!)
i dont think this restaurant is best korean restaurant in NYC but It must be one of good restaurants.
Pros: Ambience, cute interior, Service
Cons: small...crowded

The food at Tigerland is delicious! The food tasted very gourmet and flavorful and was reasonably priced. Great staff and hospitality. The owners care about the quality of their food and ingredients -- Everything is organic and locally grown. We got the shitake and scallion fried rice, wild shrimp with mint, basil, and snow peas, chicken with basil and long beans, and pea shoots. All was great! For dessert we had a thai iced tea cupcake (mmm!) and a coconut pudding. The pudding was refreshing and perfect for the end of the meal (even though we were already stuffed from all the dinner we ate!) -- you should definitely order it when you go there. We traveled quite a way to get there but it was worth the trip. Highly recommended!

We walked in on a Friday night prime time without a reservation so we got lucky and grabbed two seats at the bar. We haven't been to Indochine I'm a few years and I was curious to see if they were still as good as ever. And they actually were even better than I remembered. The appetizers were very good and the flavors exciting. The entrees were just as flavorful. The service was very professional and friendly. Even though we had dinner at the crowded bar, we were taken good care of thanks to the attentive bartender. We will be back more often and next time we'll make reservations, but stop first for a drink at the bar

Hangawi is wonderful. The Pear Mango salad is delicious. It's my favorite thing on the menu. I especially like the three mushroom dish for the main course and the green tea icecream is a great way to top it all off. I would reccomend this place to any one who wants to try a vegetarian meal with a cool ambiance. You have to take your shoes off and sit on pillows on the floor which is a neat thing.
Pros: Great food, cool ambiance, excellent teas and juices
Cons: a bit pricey

Saigon Grill is found in many New York travel books, so that's how most people find out about it. I went there the first time on a date with a guy from Korea, but it was to the one on the upper-east side (much smaller, but speedy!). This location is so large, you get lost in it the first time. I guess it has a much higher attendance cause I've waited here longer than at the other location, but tis worth it, I tell you. You can't go wrong. Everything is delicious!!! The vegetables are fresh, and the sauces are a perfect combination of spicy and sweet (if you like Thai food, try this). Try the Canh Chua (soup) first (the large one is like a swimming pool, so only go for it if you're hungry!), go for an appetizer to split (the beef sate is good), and share a main dish. Trust me, it's enough food. Overall, I'd recommend the chicken or veggie dishes over the beef ones, and I don't have much experience with the fish dishes. The best part about this place is when the check comes... you stare at it and say "That's it?" You will find yourself coming back, oh yes, and I will see you there.
Pros: Fresh Food, Licking-the-Sauce-Off-Your-Plate Delicious, Fast Service
Cons: A Tad Noisy

This is my first review of any restaurant ever, but I wanted to address the people in past posts that say that this restaurant is not authentic Vietnamese, I want to know what their comparison is and if they even know what real Vietnamese is. As a native Vietnamese living in this city, there hasn't been one good and real Vietnamese restaurant in New York besides what I find in Chinatown, which also cannot be considered authentic and most of them are not good either. If anyone wants completely authentic food, go to Vietnam. I come here for the great food, real or not and the friendly service I get every time. The price may not be comparable to Chinatown, but it's Tribeca and for that kind of neighborhood, I would expect to pay the high prices. This restaurant is a definite must for me!
Pros: Food, service, atmosphere
Cons: none

I loved this restaurant. My friends and I (group of 7) decided to have a late dinner around 11 P.M., but service was great. Others have put bad reviews for service, but that must be during busy times. We came at an odd hour so it wasn't crowded. You would expect food to be bad during slow hours but it was actually great. I would love to taste their food during busy hours. Definitely try the Kal Bi and special beef (? that's what I heard them call it). It was DELICIOUS! We ordered about 7 orders of the beef barbeque. I love the fact they are 24/7. It's a great place to dine after a night out with friends.
