The waiters had a little attitude and kept walking around for no reason and staring at us. When I raised my hand so I can ask for wine, the waiter walked down like he was doing me a big favor. The wine I ordered was really bad, like it was standing open for a few days.
The pasta I ordered was very bad. Too salty and peppery. Also the broccoli looked like it was microwaved a few times. Not good at all. Wasted $65 for 2 person dinner.
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: Bad pasta, wine, and service.

Loved this place! Zucca Trattoria was a great find! Wonderful Rustic West Village Italian spot. The food is amazing, the service is on point, and the ambiance is classy and tasteful - a very authentic Italian feel. Fantastic food, especially the gnocchi, bruschetta, salads and the Bolognese pasta dish was out of this world. Delicious deserts too! I will be returning for sure - great for a date or just a night out with friends.
Pros: Knock your socks off Gnocchi

The food here was amazing! My roomate and I found this place on Citysearch and we decided not to wait in line for Westville. I was really craving gnocci and after skimming over the menu posted on their website we decided to give this place a try.
I had the strozzapreti with shrimp, zucchini, and tomatoes. The pasta and shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was amazing! My sister had the potato and butternut squash gnocci with pancetta and pesto. We shared a caprese salad - fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, roasted red pepper, and prosciutto over endives and drizzled with balsamic and olive oil. Everything was delicious! For dessert, we had tiramisu and a cannoli, it was good, but nothing too special.
The ambiance was warm and inviting. Our waiter and the rest of the staff was very attentive, and checked on us multiple times during our meal. I love that this place had such an authentic Italian rustic feeling, I definitely recommend it.
Pros: Great Service, Food and Atmosphere
Cons: None
