The roses are a nice touch, but... When I say the rooms are small here, I mean it. One room that I was in was so tiny I could barely step off the bed without falling into the bathroom. At these prices, I want a room where I can at least turn around in without having to step through a doorway. There is a cool lobby, but don't plan on reading in the library chairs – it is far too dark. The Dean & DeLuca on the ground floor is also a nice addition to an okay hotel.

The Paramount is a hotel located in the heart of Times Square in New York City. The interior was designed by Ian Schrager and was recently bought by the media hotel chain located in South America. The rooms at the Paramount are small. This is the one thing you notice as you get your guest room (a "standard" one) that the room is the size of a walk-in-closet. The bathroom is also tiny, and instead of getting a closet, you get a wardrobe the size of a small box. The lobby is really neat though, there are several bars, and the lobby is spacious. The elevators are also mirrored and really neat looking as well. But the rooms are small and expensive. Guess that's not surprising and out-of-the-ordinary for New York City.
