I've been here a couple of times when my laptop had some problems. They usually get my computer running in a couple of days and they always call me at home to let me know when I can pick it up. There's usually a long wait to get to a rep so while you wait you can usually go on one of their computers and check your email or look at some of the newer gadgets.

Tekserve is the place to go if you're having trouble with your computer, particularly your mac. They are trained professional and in traditional deli-style will ask you to take a number and take a seat until your number is called. They will help you with whatever problem that you have with educated and friendly service. Tekserve has even been featured on Sex and the City when Carry had a problem with her laptop. So they must be good!

Tekserve specialists do an excellent job of fixing your computer or help you pick a new one and get it up and running. You can also try out the latest products like the Nano. The only sucky part is that if you're waiting to have something repaired you have to take a number and wait sometimes a very long time. On the upside you can go on one of their computers and check your email while you wait.

What would I do without Tekserve? They've bailed me out so many times -- from rescuing data on a hard drive that locked up, to more basic things like Mac replacement parts (power cords, missing keys, etc.). The atmosphere is fun, the staff is never condescending, and I always feel reassured that my computer will be rescued from an early grave by them. If you're a Mac owner, you shouldn't go anywhere else for repairs.

This store has everything you could want from Apple, and they also do computer repairs. I brought an old computer here, and it was fixed quickly, but I thought it was a little expensive. They really know what they are doing here though, so if you want the job done right, it's worth the money. While I was waiting, I enjoyed looking at all the gadgets they sell.

I couldn't in good faith give 5 stars because my experience with Tekserve has really been second hand. This is the place that makes me want to throw my PC out the window and bu a MAc like all of my lucky friend who, any time they have any problems with their Macs whatsoever they go to Tekserve and everything is all right again. As any PC owner knows, we have no equivalent.

I don't have a Mac, but all my friends do, and I am always jealous that they get to go to Tekserve while I am stuck dealing with so much garbage getting my laptop fixed. I have a friend whose I-book was dropped and the Mac warranty help center told her it was unfixable, and then she brought it to Tekserve and the guy fixed it for her no problem and was able to do it under warranty.

In an episode of Sex and the City Carrie Bradshaw's laptop had a meltdown, got wrapped in a pashmina and taken to a computer store to get repaired. Tekserve is pretty much the same concept only with more techno everything and a staff that is so in the know it's almost scary. Probably the best store in the city to take your computer if its on the blitz

You could travel down to Soho to the big Apple store to see the latest products or you can go to Tekserve and see the latest products llike the Nano close up. They are second to none in repairs which is really important if you have lost important files and need to retrieve them.

I first discovered this jewel of a store during a potato chip and soda tasting event they sponsored this past June. I went for the free junk food, but return for the great customer service and the no hard sell atmosphere. I'm a technophobe and pretty much at the mercy of anyone selling me items I "must have yo save my gear. You won't find any "used car salesmen" at Tekserve. They are helpful and won't sell you anything you don't need. Buy your Apple at the Apple store, but get it serviced at Tekserve. And don't fret about missing the chips and soda gig. They have a working 10 cent coke machine that's pretty sweet. Customers Only!
