I've been here a couple of times when my laptop had some problems. They usually get my computer running in a couple of days and they always call me at home to let me know when I can pick it up. There's usually a long wait to get to a rep so while you wait you can usually go on one of their computers and check your email or look at some of the newer gadgets.

They will help you with whatever problem that you have with educated and friendly service. Tekserve has even been featured on Sex and the City when Carry had a problem with her laptop. So they must be good!

Tekserve specialists do an excellent job of fixing your computer or help you pick a new one and get it up and running. You can also try out the latest products like the Nano. The only sucky part is that if you're waiting to have something repaired you have to take a number and wait sometimes a very long time. On the upside you can go on one of their computers and check your email while you wait.

What would I do without Tekserve? They've bailed me out so many times -- from rescuing data on a hard drive that locked up, to more basic things like Mac replacement parts (power cords, missing keys, etc.). The atmosphere is fun, the staff is never condescending, and I always feel reassured that my computer will be rescued from an early grave by them. If you're a Mac owner, you shouldn't go anywhere else for repairs.

I don't have a Mac, but all my friends do, and I am always jealous that they get to go to Tekserve while I am stuck dealing with so much garbage getting my laptop fixed. I have a friend whose I-book was dropped and the Mac warranty help center told her it was unfixable, and then she brought it to Tekserve and the guy fixed it for her no problem and was able to do it under warranty.

Tekserve is pretty much the same concept only with more techno everything and a staff that is so in the know it's almost scary. Probably the best store in the city to take your computer if its on the blitz

I first discovered this jewel of a store during a potato chip and soda tasting event they sponsored this past June. I went for the free junk food, but return for the great customer service and the no hard sell atmosphere. I'm a technophobe and pretty much at the mercy of anyone selling me items I "must have yo save my gear. You won't find any "used car salesmen" at Tekserve. They are helpful and won't sell you anything you don't need. Buy your Apple at the Apple store, but get it serviced at Tekserve. And don't fret about missing the chips and soda gig. They have a working 10 cent coke machine that's pretty sweet. Customers Only!

Tekserve was even featured in an episode of Sex in The City. This is a great place to get your MAC repaired or even your ipod. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They even offer periodic training sessions for free to the public. Walk in and sit down to learn tips and tricks on the latest software for your MAC. Ever have a problem with your ipod? the good folks at tekserve can usually help.

Though you often have to be a little patient (the lines do get long), once your number is called Tekserve delivers quality service. I have been going to them for years for Mac-related sales, service and seminars, and every time I have not only received what I came for, but walked out with something extra (ex. free giveaways, great off-the-record advice, extra service thrown in at no charge, etc.). They are down-to-earth, competitively priced and really know their stuff -- I highly recommend them for any of your Mac needs.

The number one place in new York City to get your PC fixed. The techies here are some of the best in the business and will retrieve your lost files with the best of them. There is a lot of attitude in this place and you are not encouraged to ask questions. With a refresher course in customer service this place could move up a notch or to. It is also very expensive but when you need your lost files you'll pretty much pay any price to retrieve them.
