Wow, this place is absolutely awesome. It beats getting someone flowers any day. I think this is one of the coolest stores. Basically, as the name implies, they make arrangements that look like a floral arrangement, but that are edible. Most are made with fruits like strawberries and pineapples, but they also have chocolate ones as well. If you are looking to get someone a special gift and want to do something other than flowers, check out Edible Arrangements. They have several locations throughout New York City. They are a bit pricey and this isn't something that I would get all the time, but it is nice for special occasions.

This is my first-time message, on any subject, let alone the subject of physical love between two adults - such as Man/woman, Man/man, Woman/Woman, or even the most taboo subject of all . . . self love.
When my photography business took a dive, I applied for a part time job in the Coconut Grove store, here in Miami.
"The purpose of The Pink Pussycat Boutique is to alow you to discover who you are sexually."
When I kept the above slogan in my mind, I had no problem selling adult toys to adults.
I really loved all the products and especially meeting the people that came into the store to buy the toys.
Fun, Fun, Fun.
It was a liberating experience to turn on adults to adult toysl
I eventually had to resign my sales position with The Pink Pussycat Boutique because my photography business recovered.
At the present time, I am doing music videos, corporate porftraits, and videos of injured people (A Day In The Life Of . . . . ).
As a result of working for The Pink Pussycat Boutique, Tom Elliott Photography is doing well here in Miami, Florida.
I now let all my current clients and future clients sell themselves on the photo products I am offering.
Yours truly,
Tom Elliott

This is the number one place I come to get all my Judaica needs. It's expensive, but it's hard to find anything else less expensive in this city. From holy books to secular books, to Judaic religious items, to music, to toys to mezuzot to jewelery, they've got it all. The people in the store are very helpful and can always make sure that you get exactly what you need.

After reading a few reviews about the shop I was a tad reluctant to go in. However, a friend of mine told me to dismiss any bad conotations and see for myself. I'm glad I did! I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, and was whisked through the shop with not one but two staff members giving their input. Great selection too! It was easy to pick out more than one item I found I liked [I went in to buy a present for my daughter and ended up buying for future birthday parties she would attend]. Checkout was super speedy - those counter girls wrap extremely fast AND it looks nice, and they were able to deliver to my apartment the same day. I will definitely be going back there.
Pros: great selection, knowledgable staff, free gift wrapping

Animazing is the place to go to if you are decorating your child's room or if you have a bit of Peter Pan in you and are hankering for some wall or desk art for your office, home office or den (I wouldn't recommend most of the goods here for living rooms, but if it floats your boat go for it). Regardless of why you may be purchasing (or if you are not purchasing at all), Animazing is a fun gallery to wander through as it features work displaying characters of fantasies, movies and storybooks. I am a fan of the Disney art - never fear, it is not strictly Walt's world!

Alphabets is a great junk store with lots of unique cards, kitsch, shirts and tchotchkes. Great place to window shop, especially on your way to one of the East Village clubs. I’ve been known to do my Christmas shopping here. However, they’re becoming a bit corporate with their two spin-off stores and fancy web site. Still, I won’t hold that against them.

i love this store. it is a true experience.
the chocolates are gorgeous, but they're flavors are also transcendent ... basil, curry, grapefruit ... not your usual chocolate fillings ... and they are cased in the deepest cocoa ... not cloyingly sweet, but rather clean tasting ... pure ... this place is nirvana.
