Not for the kiddies! This very small store sells various types of adult toys, videos and lube, as well as a small selection of lingerie. Great staff, highly informative and very LGBT friendly. The sales people do not mind browsing and will not pressure you into purchasing anything, in fact they invite you to explore and ask questions.

Halloween Adventure in NYC's East Village is like a vacation for the imagination. First if all It's huge! With two floors that go all the way from 808 Broadway through the building to 4th Ave. The store is loaded with a unique and creative presentation of eclectic, funky, fun and magical products. You'll find costumes, masks, hats, makeup, wigs, magic... a great selection of goofy gags and novelties ... and a separate store for the Dark of Heart called Gothic Renaissance. Prices were reasonable, selection incredible - and the store staff was a large part of the fun of shopping in this store. Whether pierced, tattoo-ed, spiked, fanged, or costumed... the sales people (Fausto?, Stitch?) couldn't have been more cool!
They also have a website: http://www.halloweenadventure.com but the store is the real story and so unique it is worth the trip!

This museum has a nice colletion of artifacts from india, japan, korea, china, and indonesia. The nice part of this place is that it doesn't focus on just mainland china like most museums do. The museum shop has decent prices and a wide variety of goods. In the summer there is free admission on Friday afternoons
PROS: Asian culture, free admission in the summer on friday afternoon
CONS: none

Every time I ordered flowers they exceeded expectations. The most important occasions become that much more special. The elegant design enhances the highest quality flowers, so the recipients are ecstatic and I feel I received more value than I paid for.
Pros: Worth every penny

Since I discovered this gem out of the usual fabric district, I've never been happier! Weighing the pros and cons, I listed 'closed on Saturday' as the only possible, however, you make up for it because all or most of the stores in the fabric/garment district are 'closed on Sundays' allowing you THIS option for Sunday!
The staff has always been great to me from greeting me as soon as I walk into the establishment to the sweet ladies that chat with me while cutting the fabric to the choices of items! Each time I am there, I end up talking to another fellow shopper and sharing a laugh or two!
I highly recommend this to others! Make your way there!!!
Enjoy!!!
Pros: EVERYTHING from staff to items!
Cons: Closed on Saturdays, but I can deal with that... ;-)

I bought all my furniture from Schneider's over 30 years ago and have come back to buy furniture for my first grandchild. There was a good selection of merchandise at all price ranges. I found that they were very helpful in explaining the differences of the different brands they carried.
They had fair prices and were cheaper than other stores. We just received our furniture and the service was excellent. My son was very happy with everything.
Pros: Thumbs up
Cons: none

Cool people, cool vibe.
I trust them and everything has been perfect.
They've got everything magically crammed in the shop...
I was recommended to go to this shop by another friend, and so here I am recommending it forward.
Truly a gem in my neighborhood.

This place is so unbelievable, it is hard to describe. There are something like seven floors, each with a different theme of home goods. The sheer magnitude of the size of the place is mindboggling. There is something for everyone. There are antiques and new things. There is a cafe. The prices are pretty expensive. It is worth it just to look around.
