The Noose sells hard core made in Europe whip and chains (more heavy on the whips) sex toys. It's more for the kinky core than soft core sex crowd and the place can be a little intimidating so bring a friend. The prices are quite high. The bondage suits alone can cost over two thousand dollars. Still if you are into S&M type stuff.

Nice Korean owned neighborhood dry cleaners on the upper east side. The former owners were more personable but the new owners are okay. They do a very good job on your dry cleaning and prices are competitive with the neighborhood. Always on time, have never lost anything in the many times I have used them.

There are alot of dry cleaners in the city, and I have found this place to be reliable and reasonable with cost. They haven't lost any of my items, and they usually give me a bit of a break when I break in alot of items. I also just found out they put in coupons with the value pack you get mailed to your home in the blue envelope. They have alot of locations, I have used the one at 1st ave and 62nd st. If you have someone at home or a doorman, they will even deliver

This is a small independent dry cleaners who also does alterations and laundry. The man behind the counter is very sweet and it's the sort of place I'm happy to support. They've done a good job with my dry cleaning and alterations over the years and recommend them if this is your neighborhood.

They lose clothes and won't do anything about it. Even when I have returned clothes that aren't mine, I can see they take no care to return those to the rightful owner. Very poor customer service. They told me that clothes are not mixed with other people's, yet I've been receiving other people's items in my laundry. They also told me something would be done about my lost laundry, a month later when it happens again, the next person says they won't do anything. Dry cleaning is incredibly slow. Won't ever use them again. Unless you don't mind losing your laundry, don't bother with this place.

Ah, my local laundromat. On the plus side, lots of machines (fewer dryers though) in several different sizes and two change machines and a dispenser for individual wash sizes of detergent. On the down side? Several of the dryers are installed wrong, so when it says to put change in a given slot for the top dryer you're really feeding the bottom dryer quarters, which of course has someone else's laundry in it. If you can avoid that pitfall, it's perfectly fine.

I've been here about four times before I finally got turned off. They raised their rates the final time I was there, but that's not why it's a bad place to go. They don't do quality work on your clothes. I noticed a few times they kept missing stain marks on the front of shirts, shrunk it, and the stuff they use smells too soapy like on your clothes. This is really bad if you perspire and the chemicals react with it. I wouldn't really recommend this place. You don't get what you pay for, that's for sure.

More
The laundry quarters will do all of your towel work at a great price and will also do uniforms if you happen to own a catering company for example or even lab coats for a science lab. They do not pick up or deliver entirely for free, however, and require a minimum order to have free pick up and delivery.
