I arranged a bachelor party dinner for ten and couldn't have been more pleased. From the manager who booked the party, to the staff that served us, 'inoteca was on point. We went for the Classic Party Menu for a mere $39 - this is a family style dinner, and sometimes that means the portions can be meager. Not in this case. We actually had food leftover, and we're talking about 10 hungry male adults. A big shout out to our waitress who realized she'd given us the wrong bill, which we paid, and came running out of the restaurant to reimburse us the $160 we got overcharged. The wine was great, the ambiance in the wine cellar where we ate was festive, they accommodated 3 guests with serious food allergies, and generally just took care of us. Thanks 'inoteca.
Pros: Food, service, price
Cons: None at this point

'wichcraft is the worst. I've eaten at the one in the west village as well as the booth in Herald Sq. They have fouled up my orders and usually present soggy sandwiches which claim gourmet ingredients but never taste right. Come on Tom!

For sophisticate palettes the grilled fontina sandwich ($9) is a sublime cheese experience. ‘wichcraft focuses on sourcing gourmet ingredients like: black trumpet mushrooms and white truffle fondue. Finicky young diners can request a sandwich without the elaborate fixings.
The desert sandwiches are sinfully delicious--the peanut butter cookie sandwich is a great splurge. Lots of fun drinks to wash down the food. Tribeca location is my favorite.

The food is good, the coffee is decent (but not great), but the service is extremely spotty and can be very slow. Often the store seems understaffed. They will have one person taking orders, and this person also makes the coffee drinks and gets the food. So every order takes a long time, and if there is a line you have to wait upwards of 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee. I often see people leaving out of frustration after waiting in line and realizing how slow it is; I've done the same myself. The sanwiches are good but overpriced compared to similar quality in other places.

I can't speak for the Kiosks at Bryant. I went one day to check it out but the sandwich stand was closed because they were "having problems" which was disappointing...I sought out the 'wichcraft on 5th and 46th St. and was dying to try the triple decker PB and J on Pullman white. Great chunky PB and luscious, sweet strawberry jelly. The bread was soft and tasty in the middle but EXTREMELY hard and chewy on the outside. I'm not sure if this is characteristic of this type of bread, but personally, I found it really hard to bite into and it took away from the amazing taste of the rest of the sandwich. They also make great coffee drinks with Le Columbe coffee and the service is pretty good. Would recommend for a "foody" looking for a common yet upscale bite. The rest of their menu looks really good and their ingredients look pretty fresh. Would go back for sure.
Pros: good food, service, creativity, and menu
Cons: Pricey and portions not ideal for someone who likes a big lunch

I have been here 5 times over the last few months and seen some of the best shows I've seen in awhile. (Particularly Sebastien Tellier) The sound is great, the staff is friendly, and they have really great taste in music.
I was also here for a friend's birthday in the cool bar next door and they treated us great (she got a free bottle for her friends to enjoy.)
I highly recommend this spot. Nice yo have great live music back in the Village
Pros: great music, great drinks
Cons: crowded
