Zutto has possibly the most delicious Japanese food I have ever eaten. The sushi is excellent here, and the service is extremely fast. The environment of the restaurant gives off an Asian feeling, and takes you away from the busy city. Some of the items on the menu were a bit pricey, but in this case, the price is definitely worth it.

The best German food I have had since I was in Munich. The white sausage and the Hofbrau beer were excellent. Have been here several times, going during the day is key as it is typically not as crowded which can be an issue since the place is not that large. But overall the waitstaff was very pleasant and the food was excellent.
Pros: Beer, Food
Cons: Size

If you are in the mood for a taste of Europe - Germany specifically - make sure to stop by Zum Schneider. Waiters wear authentic clothing, tables are the long wood kind, and the beer is huge and great!
They have holiday festivities all the time - we went there for Easter last year - and everyone is always in a great mood.
Wonderful place to come with a bunch of friends and possibly meet some new ones.

I have been eating at Pomodori for ten years and have never been disappointed. I have brought family and friends here for as long and they too have falled in love with it. Why? Excellent and friendly service, great food, reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere for any occasion. And the best perk? You can actually have a glass of good house wine for under $10. Yes! One more bit of info: Zucchero & Pomodori also owns Scarlatto on 47th between Bway and 8th. This is also a wonderful and reasonably priced place!
Pros: Reasonably Priced, great service, wonderful atmosphere

Loved this place! Zucca Trattoria was a great find! Wonderful Rustic West Village Italian spot. The food is amazing, the service is on point, and the ambiance is classy and tasteful - a very authentic Italian feel. Fantastic food, especially the gnocchi, bruschetta, salads and the Bolognese pasta dish was out of this world. Delicious deserts too! I will be returning for sure - great for a date or just a night out with friends.
Pros: Knock your socks off Gnocchi

I ate at Zoma last weekend. It was my first time eating Ethiopian and all I wondered is what took me so long!! The food was absolutely amazing. Started off with the stuffed fillo pastry with the ground sirloin, which I recommend. Then since I never had the cuisine before we decided to share one of the platters, which consisted of 3 meats and lentils prepatred in different sauces, served w/ Injera ( a spongy bread that is use to scoop up the food, no utensils!!) Everything was amazing. The lentils were definitely my faves though. We also tried the Tej Ethiopian honey wine and it was good also. I can't wait to go back!
Pros: Delicious food, friendly staff
Cons: parking, cash only
