Tucked into a quiet spot off Madison this little place is a perfect spot to rejuvenate after a long day for shopping or museum going. The little sandwiches are hot and tasty. Clever fillings too. But the best thing to order is their hot chocolate--the best in the city. Rich and a bit bitter--you can tell they use the good stuff in here. Perfect with a biscotti. You'll be ready to tackle more shops in no time at all.

I say that because it sounds like the United Nations in here. The waitstaff may not speak italiano,but many of it's patrons do and that was a bit of a note to me that this was a good place....

I say that because it sounds like the United Nations in here. The waitstaff may not speak italiano,but many of it's patrons do and that was a bit of a note to me that this was a good place. Everything here is done well and is fresh: the panini, the cappucino and the hot chocolate is the best you will ever have (besides your mother's of course-wink, wink). Perfect for a cold fall or winter day...
