Living in New York City, the BBQ isn't quite as good here as it is in the South, but I would have to say that Texas Rotisserie & Grill is pretty decent. The food is good, and not expensive at all, and the service is very friendly, its worth giving it a try.

Well, looking for texas or mexican food in this part of manhattan can be a hard thing to accomplish if you ask me. This place, in my opinion, is a nice diversion from the regular ethnic cuisine offered in this area. Now,if you want to go to texas to compare, i can not help you there: this is good, not necessarily like down home as it is called, but it's pretty good. So give it a whirl and judge the down south for yourself.
