I have enjoyed the food at China Grill several times, but my most recent trip left me a bit sore. You see, I came in between the lunch and dinner sittings and my only option was to sit at a cabaret table or the bar. I chose the cabaret table thinking that it would be nice to spread out my bag and coat. Bad choice. The bar stool was extremely uncomfortable and I had no place to put my feet. I had to get up and stand to wait for my check because I couldn't take it any longer. Good food choices: Peking Duck Salad & Drunken Chicken. Portions are very large, so you might want to split an entree with a friend...actually, you should split an entree or you will be bringing home a carton of food. The price is high, but you will enjoy the food here. Love the fried onions!

I had such high expectations for China Grill when I visited with my roommate last week. We started with a chicken salade. That was amazing, large portion, flavorful. But then it went sadly downhill. We ordered salmon, but the menu did not say it was prepared with a mayonnaise-ish sause (I have a huge aversion to all things egg related). I tried to wipe it off and get over it, but the fish was not cooked all the way through and was like jelly in the middle. I know tuna can be prepared rare like this, but I've never experienced nearly raw salmon, except for sushi ofcourse. Very unappetizing. To top it off, our waiter disappeared and all I wanted was a refil on my iced tea (which is infused w/mango and very good!). So maybe just stear clear of the salmon and you'll have a better experience.

Terrific Pan-Asian fare, one the expensive side, but worth the experience. The serve in table portions, so whatever you order is for the entire table. The décor is dark red and black and Asian prints...

The décor is dark red and black and Asian prints so it feels rather exotic. Our waitress was very helpful with suggestions and the service was also pretty fast – even though we didn’t arrive until 11pm! I’d definitely go back.
