I have been stranded three times with their return delivery service. There have been a number of problems in receiving my rugs after cleaning: "We have two appointment systems and you were in the wrong one", the traffic is too heavy to deliver, our driver had a personal emergency. They do not call if they are running late and do not honor their own set times. I would not use them again. Pros: Well documented transaction Cons: Poor Customer Service and Terrible Return Delivery

When I called Flate Rate Carpet they were there within the hour. They were happy to tell me they could get the stains out of my chairs, take my money and leave with the furniture. I was told it would take 10-14 days. Three months later I couldn't get anyone to call me back. I called about 5 different numbers a day and either there was no answer or someone would call me back. I finally scheduled a delivery date for my chairs and nobody ever showed up or called. It took me two days to get someone to call me back to reschedule delivery and they told me that the chairs have lighter spots where the stains were. I still haven't seen them yet. Pros: none Cons: it took them forever and they never return phone calls

The man who came to my apt had no respect for doorman buildings. He was in a huge rush and was aggravated by the rules and questions of the building. I am so embarrassed with the disgusting attitude he gave to my doorman. When I heard what was going on, I called the main number immediately and they did nothing about the situation. The man ended up leaving and I was left stranded with a dirty carpet! Do not use this company if your building has ANY protocol.

They came back on the earliest day of the promised range and they're sparkling and they did my sofa when they delivered them. Pros: Great results in the time promised Cons: Turn around time is a little long

My experience with this company has been a very positive one. The technician was courteous and professional, he also answered every question that I had for him with the up most knowledge and patience. I wanted only one rug cleaned, but I saw how good he had cleaned it and decided to let him service the whole house. I would recommend this company to anybody, even my enemies!! My grandmother left me her beloved area rug to me when she died and I've been trying to find somebody capable of cleaning it for months. It's been a job too big for everyone, but Flat rate Carpet took it on and did a fantastic job in the time period promised. I'm sure that Nana is smiling down on us now because of this. - Ruth Williams Pros: A good punctual job. Cons: I wish I had more carpets for them to clean!!!
