Unlike other brides, I found my wedding dress on my first dress and it was here at The Bridal Atelier at Mark Ingram. After a few fluffy confections, I pulled on a beaded, deco-style, empire dress that almost screamed "Me! Me! Me!" I say almost, because I still wanted to radically modify the style from a modest cap sleeve to a sleeveless, deep v-neck. Not a problem, said my lovely salesperson Lydia, as she and her team set about making the dress of my dreams happen in under four months.
From start to finish, they were the epitome of patience and professionalism, even when I had second thoughts about the dress. The end result was I spent my wedding night in a elegantly gorgeous dress, which felt like my second skin.

Stepping Out studios is the bomb! They have all kinds of dancing classes for all levels and they even help you find a partner and choreograph dance routines if you want to enter a dance competition. They teach tango, salsa, quick steps, ballroom everything you see on Dancing with the Stars. The classes are fairly priced and you get a discount if you refer someone.

Last night, my boyfriend and I brought a friend to the Stand Up NY Comedy Club. It was really croweded, and the staff stuffed everyone into these tiny tables and seats. After everyone quieted down, the show started. The emcee led off with a funny routine. During this routine, the waitress came by to get our orders, since there was a 2 drink minimum. The rest of the comedians after the emcee were also hilariouis. The three of us couldn't stop laughing, even after the show!
The only downside was the cramped space and expensive drinks. But I would definitely come back here another time.

Sarge's is one of the truly great, classic old New York delis. They are increasingly a dying breed, so it's worth experiencing while you still can. fantastic cured meats and deli foods and run by absolute characters. It's like a movie set if it weren't so commonplace New York. One of the quintiseential deli experiences in New York along with Katz's.

The best way to describe the Pleasure Chest would be Raunchy with style. Whatever your after hours tastes may run they will most likely have it. Great place to come for a girlfriends bachelorette party or to throw a little variety into your relationship. Go wild in here one day and pick up a bunch of goodies.

This place is great and lovely and also kosher - unfortunately I'm afraid that all of this praise, however, may be for a business that is no longer open. I wish it was because it was such a nice place to get baked products and also salads and sandwiches - but maybe writing this review will promote business such that it will get up on it's feet again. If it is still open, I apologize for the erroneous comment - and still thoroughly enjoy their services and food!
