My children have been patients of Dr. R. Murphy their whole lives. In fact even up to the age of twenty one, when they had to move on to a regular physician (his policy). He's great, always very thorough and has a great bedside manner. You can always call the office with your concerns and he'll take your phone call. Even if he was on vacation, the other covering doctors in the office were also very good. He's even met me in the hospital emergency room. He is not the type of physician that prescribes medication for every visit. As a matter of fact between my three kids, I can count the number of times he has prescribed antibiotics whenever they were sick. The most important thing is that my children loved and trusted him. My only hope is that he is still in practice when my children have their own.
