This is where I have been taking my daughter-in-law when she needs to go to the dentist. Although she dreads having to have twice a year cleanings, the hygenists here manage to calm her down enough so it's tolerable. They also have special games that kids can play while they're in the chair. It seems like a perfect distraction. The rest of the staff are also friendly and flexibile when scheduling appointments.

I have read reviews of dr. Youdeem on this site and they are just horrible, i am sorry but she was really great. All doctors have waiting time, at least there is a nice waiting area and plenty of magazines. Also you people must be crazy because I got porcelain veneers and they look incredible!! I am sure that everyone has bad experiences with doctors but mine was wonderful and have been getting all my friends to go to her now. Plus shes really sweet and personable, shes not one of those cold doctors who dont care about whats going on. I would recommend her to anyone, plus staff speaks spanish so I felt comfortable.

I've tried other yoga studios before, specifically laughing lotus and yoga to the people-- but no where else do I feel so warmly greeted and regarded. I think of yoga-works as a family-- I have been attending class there for about 5 years now. When I found out the studio had a presence on city search I felt mandated to contribute...there is literally not enough I can say about the people at yoga-works... you just have to try for yourself.
check on the 2 weeks for $30 deal. also, the downtown studio (138 5th avenue) has an AMAZING space.
google yogaworks for full detail, schedules etc.
Pros: easy to access and approachable staff
Cons: none!

I went to Ying as a last resort before starting invasive fertility treatments. After many months of trying to conceive, I was able to get pregnant twice but both pregnancies ended in early miscarraige. We were devestated and desperate, and while I wasn't optimistic
I made an appointment for a consultation with Ying. She performed an exam where she checked my tongue and pulse and then asked lots of questions about my lifestyle, stress level, sleeping habits, cycle, whether I felt hot or cold, and more. It made so much sense that she didn't just focus on my menstrual cycle like the fertility doctors did and rather took a holistic approach to fertility. Ying was so knowledgeable and friendly that I began treatment that day. Each time I came in, we discussed my symptoms, looked at my temperature charts and she adjusted treatment accordingly. In a month I was pregnant! I continued the treatments throughout my first trimester to avoid another miscarriage and now I'm thrilled to say that I'm 33 weeks pregnant and looking forward to meeting my baby girlsoon. The treatments were very pleasant and relaxaing and I always felt refreshed after leaving her office.
Ying is very caring and genuinely concerned with the welfare of her patients. I would recommend her to anyone with fertility problems.

I've been going to Dr. Yaffe for years so perhaps cannot give a truly subjective review, but I've always been satisfied by the level of care he gives. He is an incredibly busy and successful doctor so your time with him will be brief, but he gets to the point and makes sure you get what you need, whether it is a therapist, new diet, reference to a specialist, or time with other doctors in his office. He knows his patients well, remarkable for someone who must have thousands of patients. I also find him very down to earth - he will suggest the simple, less expensive treatment, before ordering a battery of tests. He has a great staff, although everyone seems overworked and harried - it is for this reason that I give his office 4 stars instead of 5.

I recently moved to NY and needed to find an optometrist after getting a really bad eye infection, I also needed new glasses and contact lenses, so I started to do some research on Citysearch to help me find a place. The majority of the places I called were overpriced and basically just trying to squeeze money out of their customers by charging for an eye exam separately from a contact lens fitting and also requiring follow-up appointments due to the infection I thought I had. So after making several calls and hearing the exorbitant amount of money I would have to pay, I began to get really frustrated until I started reading about Westway. They had great reviews on Citysearch so I called to find out more information. Fran, the optician answered and was extremely sweet, caring and polite. Dr Tanzil, the optometrist was also really great. They also had affordable packages, I ended up paying $99 for an exam (both contact lens fitting and general exam) plus 2 boxes of contact lenses. I also got a free pair of lenses to wear for two weeks as a trial before placing an order. This was by far the most affordable place I had found with the nicest people. I went in the same day, got the exam, contacts and glasses all at the same place. Go to Westway you definitely won't regret it!!! I got some really cute leopard print frames too (not in a tacky way), so they also have great style for a great price!!
Pros: great service, friendly people, great choices

Marvelous team of doctors and nurses. Great medicine and compassionate care. I wouldn't take my dog or cat any where else in NYC. I have had great experiences with several of their doctors. Dr. Brodsky, Dr. Cantor and others too.

I just met with Dr. Chernich (he was covering for another doctor downtown today) and was really impressed. He clearly explained things, took a lot of care during the exam, and answered all my questions.
Highly Recommended.

At the age of 63 I guess I belong to the mammogram veterans.Today, I had my yearly mammogram at this place and never had it been so painful, never had I felt so humiliated, treated like an animal (well, I wish animals are treated a lot nicer!!). To Ms. Jennifer, my breasts and surely everybody elses are a piece of meat. One comand followed the other - not one nice word with it. I'm not even sure if the results are correct, for when I was told "hold your breath" I couldn't do it... West Side Radiology - absolutely YES - Just make sure Jennifer is not your technician! I don't want to think of those who have breast cancer and need to deal with her!
Pros: 59th Street West Side Radiology yes
Cons: Keep away from technician Jennifer!!!
