My best bargain were $1 cedar wood chip sachets on hangers that were selling in the Bed Bath and Beyond store down the block for $8. What a bargain! Of course, I bought it all up....probably came out of there with 9 sachets. Gave some to my friends after I couldn't find any more closets in my own apartment. Also, I have to mention that during the winter months I usually am on a massive hunt for cotton tights that are opaque and jet black. I found the best quality pair in a dollar store to my surprise. The perfect material content of cotton and Lycra...no spandex so they were classy matte and not showgirl shiny. They actually outlasted my DKNY tights, that after a season ran a large hole in my heels. How do they do it? But however they do...I am glad they did.

Jacks .99 shop is very impressive considering everything in the store only costs .99 cents. You could actually decorate you home, buy toiletries and food items and find some nice housewarming gifts without spending a fortune. Don't get me wrong. You won't find any Donna Karen or Pucci hidden among the toothpaste but you will find some nice deals and very cheap stationery to boot.
