I gave my wife a certificate to this place for a full day of pure relaxation and when she got back she told me that she loved it!! She said that the staff accommodated to her the whole way through, that it was so relaxing, and that she can't wait to go back, so based on what shes telling me, you ladies should definitely check this place out!

Strangely enough I was introduced to this store thru my husband. He bought me a gift certificate to get a Lady Godiva pedicure, and ladies, this is one delicious treatment. As are most of their decadent inspired spa services. You instantly feel relaxed as you enter the purple hued space and are greeted by a friendly lady who offers you candy. How's that for coaxing you to leave your troubles at the door. It's all up hill from there. Did I mention that you actually get to soak your toesy in a concoction of warm milk, chocolate and marshmallows. And to stop you from making a fool of yourself by trying to taste it, they give a cup of cocoa to drink as you relax. Run, don't walk!

From the outside, this adorable day spa in Chelsea does not look like the sort of plush place that would attract LA transplants and page 6 headliners, but I have seen some of them in there (I'm not telling who - paparazzi stay away!!!!) Head down the long hallway past the unassuming entrance and find yourself in a gauzey indoor tent. Like the spa equivalent of Anita Diamant's novel The Red Tent.
My favorites are the delicious massages and smell-good treatments using fresh ingredients. There's something quite luxurious about getting a pedicure with products you could almost eat if you wanted to.
They also do waxing, fake tanning, facials, body treatments. Like most spas, you can sign up in advance to take a whole group of people for a spa party or event. My office has taken clients to this spa for an afternoon of pampering - it's healthier and more fun than yet another booze-soaked evening of business entertaining at NYC bars.
