After increasing the quoted price, I still allowed them to clean the bedroom wall to wall. They left lumps and dents. The repair crew came to fix it. It was only slightly improved. The owner came by and convinced me it was an old carpet. OK. THEN THE Horror. They took out for cleaning a very expensive handmade carpet. After I had paid the bill, I began to notice that the fringe on one side has started to disintegrate. It is now like spun cotton whcih means they used a chemical they shouldn't
have. The company shouldn't be in business

There are regular carpeters and there's York Carpet & Upholstery Care. I have been swindled by other carpeters before with hidden fees, extra "labor" when they were clearly stalling and wishy washy jobs with cheap carpet and many loose ends. York was very professional and informed me of everything they did and made sure it was ok with me for all changes to the original plan. The prices are average but the finish was satisfying. Money well spent.
