My husband and I bought our baby furniture from Schneiders (crib, dresser and armoire). The furniture was not at all cheap and was delivered early. However, the paint job on the furniture was horrible. When I called the store and spoke with the owner, they didn't have anytime to deal with the problem and told me to deal directly with the vendor. I reached out to the vendor and was informed that Schneider's should have warned us about the specific finish on the furniture. I requested touch up paint so my husband and I could fix the mess and we are still waiting... For the amount of money we spent within this store I am shocked at how we were treated. I would not recommend this store to any of my pregnant friends!

I purchased baby furniture from Schneider's a few months ago and wanted to warn others about this store. Beware of a few things - they state that the furniture will be available much sooner than it really is (it took twice as long) and they also promised free delivery on one of the items (and they later refused to honor this part of the agreement). The owners Lorraine and Alan are crooks and will do anything to get your business. Beware and shop elsewhere, regardless of the price difference.

Please don't waste you're time with this store. Rude sales lady who has no idea how to sell with dignity! She will make you feel like garbage if you don't buy the top of the line from them. I didn't listen to my sister-in-law who told me she had the worst experience buying from them about six months ago, because I felt like I should check them out for myself. It was a mistake and waste of my time. At least I didn't waste over 2,500$ on broken parts, late delivery & lowsey service like siter in law did!!!!

I'd been to all the large baby superstores in Manhattan looking for a changing table. I'd even checked in with the Internet retailers. After all that legwork, I ended up with this tiny business. Well, I guess they do a big business from a tiny shop. They have a great selection and are willing to spend the time with you to help you review all the available options(even custom orders). No one rushes you or makes you feel pressures. Delivery was in the promised time frame and the prices were very competitive. It felt nice to give business to a small company rather than a large corporation. If I need any other furniture for the baby I'll be coming back to this spot.

Schneider's is a family business and offers good homestyle service. They are very helpful and understanding when you are shopping for essentials for your new family member. You want your infant or toddler to try on every stroller or car seat in the store to see which one they prefer, no problem. Your stroller got damaged, no problem they'll fix it.
