Very close to famous Pat's cheese steaks in philly 99 Miles is the best restaurant I've come across in NYC to get a really delicious cheese steak. The waffle fries are to die for as well. Enjoy!
Pros: True philly style cheesesteaks!!
Cons: Limited locations...I think only one

I am from South Philadelphia but have been in NYC since 1978 years. I have searched for and tried many so called "philly cheese steaks" around the city for years. - None, and I repeat none, have come as close to a real South Philadelphia - corner made, steak sandwich as do these!

Wow, what an amazing place. The food was awesome, but the view of the United Nations building and the outside seating is beautiful. This place is a diamond in the NYC sand. We look forward to coming back for the nighlty live music and cocktails, such a nice place.
