Shun Lee serves exceptional Chinese cuisine. Pricey but well worth it if you are near Lincoln Center. The food was superb and we enjoyed every bite. It was a little dark inside and the waiter spoke very little English. We attended a Chinese wedding there as well and was a treat indeed.

Shun lee is almost with out question the best Chinese food in the city. While the menu is a little vague, whatever you order will be great. The chicken chan do is just like general chicken, only spicier and tastier. The hot and sour soup is excellent and the duck soso. The ambience is great and the service excellent….make sure you make a reservation on weekends thought. Definitely worth it if you want to shell out some money.

Shun Lee is known for its delicious chinese food and great upper west side vibe. But it's also known for its rather pricey menu. However, the adjoining cafe is the ticket to a fantastic dinner at half the price. Dim sum is the speciality around here, and I highly recommend the steamed shrimp and chive dumplings. The orange beef is another tasty option, and for dessert- try the leeches- good for you and better-tasting than anywhere else in NYC that I can think of. Shun Lee Cafe is the perfect follow up or precursor to a night at Lincoln Center or one of the many excellent movie theaters on the upper west side.
