What a nightmare dealing with these L.I. trash idiots. Have had to return the same camera 3 times because it would not turn off properly, they refused to give us a new unit and said it wasn't a manufacturer defect. They told me to send it back to Nikon myself!!!
They're all smiles and REAL helpful before they get your money and then as soon as you come back in with a problem they treat you like shit. Go to B & H Photo on 9th Ave!!!! Prices may be similar but the customer service is 10x better!!!!!!

They have plenty of camera merchandise to fit your needs but the prices are only average. They do photos, passport photos, as well as repairs. This time of the year, they've been advertising for their customized photo hoilday cards. I wasn't really impressed with their selection as I have been spoiled by B&H Photo. However, this is better than your run of the mill camera shops all around midtown.

This place has a lot of cameras for great prices. The downside is that it is not a chain, so their return policy is not that great. However, if you are touring New York City and your camera battery suddenly dies, you can drop in to buy a new one. They advertise in local papers, and deals look good.

The store definitely has a lot of photographic equipment. They carry all of the major brands like nikon, canon, olympus, etc. They even have digital cameras as well. The prices are on the cheaper side. You'll find it about 10% cheaper here in this store if you pay in cash of course. The only problem I have is the warranty that comes with these cameras. At least in the larger stores, you can return the camera. With these guys, I'm not so sure.

I went here to have my camera repaired and was amazed at how much other camera stuff they had.
They will develop film, customize and contour any shot you have into any type and size of photo you want, and have a great selection of cameras.
They also sell tripods, printers, photo albums and much more.
They repaired the shutter on my camera very quickly and didn't kill me on the bill.
The service wasn't amazing, but got the job done with no complaints.

Sometimes the cameras can get as low as forty percent off.
