The food is soooo good, especially the steak. The waiters are also very helpful. The place itself is rather small, and the people around seem to have a great time. Depending on your mood, you might not be a fan b/c it does get somewhat noisy, but it didn't bother me!
Pros: The food is amazing!
Cons: A little noisy, but still is a great place!

I went for a b'day party few days ago and I was so surprised that in a such asmall place like that you can have so much fun. Maybe that's why because we were in each others faces, hahaha! We met the owner got planty of comps...

A great indian cuisine. A great place to have candle light dinner. A great place to dine for a date. You feel like you are in india, with the indian music. I order numrous mango lassi's, with rice and chicken curry with the sauce. Very delicious and by far the best Indian cuisine in NYC. Better than a buffet. No lines, hardly any crowds, just a while untill your food is served, so just be patient. The milk/yogurt drinks are great too.
Pros: Better than the other Indian/Pakastani place
Cons: Those manhattany-like prices

Dino BBQ is definitely in my Top 5 places to eat in New York City! While it is certainly not a place for passers-by, those that plan the trip will be handsomely rewarded with a huge plate of ribs, and some delicious side dishes. I personally go for the french fries and beans with my ribs!
The only drawback to this place is that it so so popular that the waiting area cannot accommodate everyone one inside. The bar area could be 50% bigger, and that might do it...but if you can get to the bar, you will find a solid selection of craft brews in bottles and on tap, and the drinks are as good as they get in the City. I had a rookie make my Long Island the other night (it was cute because she was measuring the shots). The second one was clearly made by the veteran bartender who was pouring two bottles from each hand!
Oh, and do yourself a favor, book your reservation online. Makes it much less of a hassle to get your table. Big groups must reserve early since the place is so popular!

I am very suprised at the negaive reviews of this place, I live 2 blocks away so i pass by this place every day and stop in at least 3 times a week. I get nothing but cheerful and prompt service each and ever time i go there from every employee that helps me. I have tried the cookies, cupcakes, and muffins and they are all excellent. The frosting can be a tad sweet at times but i just take some off now. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. just a side not to the people who complain about how the place has been past business hours and they wanted service and feel they were treated rudely....If you have ever worked in retail industry, places have buisness hours for a reason and if you show up too early or too late its your own fault..(see the review on the girl who wanted a birthday supcake after the store was closed)...yes customer service is important, but people do have lives they have to get too...take care

I am obsessed with Thai food in general, but Spice is simply amazing. This restaurant is unbelievably cheap, and the food is great! The calamari as an appetizer is the best, 6'oclock train as an entree is delicious, and the whole fish with tamarind sauce is to die for. I've been going here for years, and I've never been disappointed. At night it does get loud, but that's just the scene. If you go for lunch, you can have a quiet meal, and it's usually not as crowded as it is at night. Space is kind of tight, but who cares, the food and the service are wonderful. Waiting time at night is no more than 10-15 minutes. Definitely try this place out once, and I bet you you'll keep on going.

I went to Brasserie Julien the other night for a date. The food and service was great and so was the atmosphere. The burgers are HUGE so I would def recommend them. Even though my date and I never worked out I would def go there for another date. Oh, and the hostess there very nice and quite the cutie too ;)

This place totally deserves the five diamond award it won! I always order there when i want mexican food, and trust me, there are two other mexican restaurants nearby i can order from, but they never come to mind. Though i've eaten food from Mama many times, i've eaten inside the place once but it was still pretty good. And the band and table-side quac was amazing! the one downside was that it was crowded.
